BDP has been involved in China since 2007 and opened a studio at the end of 2010 to support this work and win further projects across the sectors. The practice has since won a number of major developments ranging from urban regeneration masterplans through higher education, cultural and leisure facilities to retail and housing across China.
The head of BDP’s Shanghai Studio, Stephen Gillham, said: “To support BDP’s vision for China, our expanding portfolio and our growing design team, we are moving from premises which we had already outgrown to a brand new building nearby in Shanghai’s Luwan District from where we will be able to provide even stronger solutions for our clients.“
