Developer Anthony John Group’s successful bid is focused on delivering Suncorp’s new commercial office in Brisbane, Australia. The new 43,000m2 development will include offices, shops, a gymnasium and parking.
“The success of our bid for this work was partly down to our impressive track record in construction in Queensland - we recently completed the first five star hotel on the Gold Coast, The Hilton Surfers Paradise, and are working towards the completion of the Development, said Brookfield Multiplex regional director David Ghannoum. “The other reason for our success was due to our ability to address the client’s four primary agendas - social, architectural, economic and environmental – the combination of which will create an iconic commercial development.”
Construction of the Southpoint development will start in early 2012.
