Call for bids for Olympic Park remodelling

The 18-month project includes significant re-landscaping of the site, with the construction of cycleways, footpaths, draining and irrigation systems, playgrounds and planting.

The development corporation says that by spring 2014, the 560 acre Olympic Park will be “an exciting new visitor destination and community park, unlike any other in the UK”.

The so-called South Plaza will include the ArcelorMittal Orbit viewing platform and the Aquatics Centre, which will become public swimming baths.
