Clugston Construction was asked to help out with the production of an advertisement for the benefits of workplace pensions by the Department of Works & Pensions. The advert series also features some business people who are already TV celebrities, such as Dragon’s Den’s Theo Paphitis and Karren Brady from The Apprentice.
The Clugston part of the advertisement features more than 100 team members from the multi-million pound Staffordshire Energy From Waste plant that the company is constructing, with project manager Rashpal Nijjar up front.
Clugston marketing director Paul Gouland said: “This was an unusual request for the team to participate in, but they had a great deal of fun working with the film crew and director. We may even have uncovered some hidden talent!”
The campaign aims to get up to 11 million more people saving in a workplace pension by 2018.
