It is part of a consortium with KOU GC for the work, which involves the extension of the metro line between Haï El Badr and El Harrach-Centre stations. The entire contract value amounts to €85m, slightly more than one half of which is earmarked for Colas Rail.
The project includes the construction of the entire transport system and four new stations along a total of 4km of line.
Colas Rail, the project leader, will lay the track and the third rail, in addition to installing electrical supply, low voltage equipment, tunnel ventilation and the ticketing system.
With work slated to last 23 months, the extension should be operational by November 2014.
