The contract comprises Road 40 Phase 2, Dållebo-Hester, and consists of seven kilometres of motorway, seven bridges, 400m of tunnel through Vistbergen, and substantial rock, water and drainage, tunnel and concrete work. When all stages of Dållebo-Hester work are completed, road 40/E4 will have motorway standard between Gothenburg and Ulricehamn, and central reservations all the way from Gothenburg to Stockholm.
Work begins in December and it is expected that it will take three years to complete.
