Croydon advertises £30m housing framework

18 Oct 11 The London Borough of Croydon has advertised a housing framework worth up to £30m over the four-year duration.

The council intends to appoint a maximum of eight contractors.

The works comprise the design and construction of houses, bungalows and flats on 'infill' sites within the London Borough of Croydon, with sites ranging from single dwellings up to 10 units. Sites within close proximity to each other will be grouped together as single contracts.

The current programme envisages the design and construction of up to 50 units per annum, constructed to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 or Level 5.

Only contractors with an annual turnover over £20m will be considered.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 17 November.
