Docia enters Indian market

4 Oct 11 Denmark-based Docia is launching its project management software in India, three months after it entered the British market.

It has set up a new partnership with Indian software provider Ram Caddsys.

Docia provides project and facilities management software and hosts 100,000 project users online from 7,000 companies in 15 countries. The software is known as known as ’Byggeweb’ in the Nordic market while the launch in India will be under the organisation’s international name, Docia. The first contracts in India have already been signed.

“We see huge potential in emerging markets and in Asia,” said Docia CEO Mads Bording. “Through a strong partnership with a well-established organisation in the Indian market, we have a solid foundation as we enter into India, where we see great potential. We grow each and every year as a result of the value we create for our customers – whether it be in the form of cost reduction, resource optimisation, an improved collaborative culture, efficiency, etc. Our ambition in India is no different – we aim to achieve a significant market share by bringing that same value to the Indian construction industry. And we do not doubt for a second that Ram Caddsys will help us attain this result.”
