The cabins will be used by M&A Doocey Civil Engineering site personnel , including those working on to Morgan Sindall utility contract for Severn Trent Water.

Doocey Group operations director Stephen Doocey said: “These Comfort Space cabins were selected because they are cost effective, durable units that will greatly enhance the comfort of our workforce on site. They provide good security and allow us to more than satisfy the HSE guidelines covering the provision of welfare facilities at transient construction sites.”

Produced in Boss Cabins’ new factory in Grantham, the Comfort Space welfare unit can accommodate up to six people. It is a road towable anti-vandal cabin with an operating weight of 1730kg. Security on site is aided by the ability to hydraulically lower the whole cabin down onto the ground to hide its road wheels and then cover the tow bar with a lockable steel shroud.

Featuring a wear resistant interior, the Comfort Space cabin provides a canteen/rest area, a toilet / washroom and a drying room. It is supplied with an integral 6.0kVA Stephill SD6000WD super silent generator that is powered by a reliable Yanmar L100 single cylinder diesel engine.
