Eleven named for £300m Welsh regional framework

29 Sep 11 Eleven contractors have been chosen to share in an anticipated £300m of local authority construction work in southwest Wales over the next three years.

The South West Wales regional contractors framework is divided into three lots and includes both regional and national contractors.

Lot 1 is for contracts worth more than £12m and covers the whole region of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, City and County of Swansea, Carmarthenshire County Council and Pembrokeshire County Council. Selected contractors are J.B. Leadbitter& Co, Laing O'Rourke Wales & West and Carillion Construction.

Lot 2 is for contracts worth between £3.5m and £12m in Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and the City and County of Swansea. Selected contractors for Lot 2 are: Andrew Scott, JB Leadbitter & Co, Kier Regional, Vinci Construction, Dawnus Construction and Interserve Project Services

Lot 3 is for contracts worth between £3.5m and £12m in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Chosen contractors here are: Andrew Scott, WRW Construction, Cowlin Construction, T Richard Jones (Betws), Dawnus Construction and Interserve Project Services.
