The agreement will see the contractor deliver refurbishment projects across the council's property portfolio, including schools, libraries, offices and other civic buildings.
Forrest is better known for its work in the social housing sector in the North West but has also been delivering public building capital works services for over 20 years. Chief executive Lee McCarren said: “This is a key win for the business as it highlights the success of our strategy to expand our presence in complementary markets.”
Forrest is one of six contractors to be selected by the council across four separate lots within its framework.
