Galliford Try win £56m Milton Keynes PRS scheme

13 Jan 22 Galliford Try Building has won a £56m contract to build a development of private rented sector (PRS) flats in Milton Keynes.

The Secklow Gate site, on Avebury Boulevard close to the centre of the town, will be developed to deliver 329 PRS units, across four buildings of varying height up to 11 storeys.

The developer is Abbeygate Developments, owned by local businessman Clive Faine. The site, opposite the Xscape building, was previously a garden centre.

Galliford Try chief executive Bill Hocking said: “Our business is building an enviable track record in the PRS sector, and is a key sector for us as we deliver on our sustainable growth strategy.”
