HE Simm lands £4.1m M&E work at Elephant & Castle

13 Dec 13 M&E specialist HE Simm has been awarded a £4.1m contract with Lend Lease on the £1.5bn Elephant & Castle regeneration project in London.

HE Simm, which has offices in Liverpool and London, will be providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on the new Trafalgar Place apartments project. The eight blocks, which vary from three to 10 storeys, house 235 apartments.

The subcontractor starts work this month, with a completion date set for May 2015.

HE Simm will provide a variety of services including power, lighting, domestic water services, drainage, ventilation and sprinklers. The complex is to be built to Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes as a highly sustainable new build development.
