Turnover was £14.5m, down from £26m in 2010. Pre-tax profit was just over £64,000, down from £2.1m in 2010.
Staff numbers were cut from 261 to 114 during the year, reducing the wage bill from £8.9m to £4.4m.
However, Heyrod is already bouncing back and expects to generate turnover close to £35m this year, with £25m or work already secured. Current contracts include the Scottish National Arena on behalf of Bovis as the company continues its expansion out of the northwest.
