Work on the Slip Road 8 section are expected to start in March next year for completion in January 2017.
Key elements of the work include construction of a section of tunnel in the Causeway Bay typhoon shelter including the associated temporary reclamation, and the subsequent removal of the temporary reclamation after completion of the tunnel. The scheme also includes the Slip Road 8 tunnel structure beneath the existing Victoria Park Road as well as improvements to existing Victoria Park facilities and extension of a pedestrian subway.
