IPAF appoints UK manager

4 Aug 16 The International Powered Access Federation has recruited Dave Roddy from Genie to the new position of UK market manager.

IPAF originated in the UK but over the past 20 years has grown internationally, promoting the safe use of mobile elevating work platforms worldwide.

IPAF has created the new position of UK market manager to bring greater depth to the support it offers its UK members,” said chief executive Tim Whiteman. “Dave brings a wealth of experience from working with manufacturers and interacting with companies throughout the UK that will benefit all our operations.”

Dave Roddy starts his new job on 1st September 2016. He has been a territory sales manager for Genie UK for the past five years in Scotland and the north of England. Before joining Genie, he held account manager positions with Haulotte (2007 to 2011) and JLG (2006 to 2007).

Mr Roddy said: “This exciting role demonstrates IPAF’s commitment to the growing UK membership and the contribution we can all make to the global access market. I am extremely pleased to be chosen as the first UK market manager for IPAF and look forward to working with current and new members of the organisation.”
