Over the next four years, Link will unveil a series of affordable housing developments, with an estimated 600 new build or refurbished homes across Scotland.
The framework procurement route was chosen in order to promote collaborative working, efficiencies across the supply chain and encouragement of sustainable construction solutions. Best practice will be shared amongst framework partners and there is a key drive towards creating employment and training opportunities within local communities.
In Scotland, ISG is involved in a number of social housing projects, including the £45m regeneration scheme at Mill O’Mains in Dundee for Home Scotland, and the refurbishment of 13 multi-storey blocks located throughout Glasgow, on behalf of GHA. In addition, ISG is also part of the Home Scotland framework agreement, which represents a £40m investment over four years.
