ISG to manage off-site Olympic venues

11 Oct 11 ISG has been awarded the remaining construction management contract for the off-park and non-competition venues for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The contract, which includes associated site works and infrastructure, is in addition to the one awarded in July 2011 for on-park construction works.

This second contract comprises 24 off-park sporting venues, 12 of which are outside Greater London and will be delivered by ISG's regional teams. The package also includes all 61 supporting non-competition venues, including games training facilities, transport infrastructure and hubs, material screening facilities and both athlete and IOC/IPC accommodation.

Venues that come under ISG's remit include  Earls Court, ExCeL, Hadleigh Farm, Old Trafford, the Millennium Stadium, Hampden Park, City of Coventry Stadium, St James' Park, Wembley Stadium, Weymouth and Portland, Eton Dorney and Brands Hatch.

The contract was awarded by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
