ISG wins place on North West framework

26 Nov 10 ISG has secured a role on the four year North West public sector framework, delivering council projects valued between £500,000 and £10m.

The contractor has now been awarded its first contract under the framework deal and is working on a scheme for Cheshire East Borough Council, refurbishing offices at Macclesfield Town Hall.

The North West Construction Hub Medium Value Framework covers projects across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. Adding to ISG’s growing portfolio of partnering frameworks, the company now works with clients including Manchester City Council, The University of Manchester, The University of Salford, Severn Trent Water, The Ministry of Justice, YORbuild, Sheffield NHS Trust, the University of Bradford and numerous social housing organisations.

ISG managing director Craig Tatton said: "The reality of curtailed public sector spending over the next five years has cemented the importance of regional frameworks for the delivery of vital public works. ISG’s success in securing places on key partnering frameworks is core to the business strategy as we identify that a growing volume of projects, especially within the public sector, are likely to be delivered via this procurement route.”
