Kier picked for Welsh school

9 Aug 11 Kier Western has been signed up to rebuild a primary school in Caerphilly.

The old Cwm Ifor Primary School, built more than 50 years ago, is to be knocked down and replaced by new school buildings in time for the start of the 2012/13 school year.

Kier’s contract value is £5.1m. Overall project cost is £5.9m, with the Welsh government providing £4.04m and client Caerphilly County Borough Council providing £1.85m.
