Lincoln has close to 8,000 council homes. Kier is the council’s chosen partner for the full range of work, from doors and window to wiring and insulation. A proportion of the work is expected to be subcontracted, however.
Kier’s winning bid came in right at the bottom of the originally estimated range of £50m to £90m.
