The design and construction contract for the Mains Road Kessels Road intersection upgrade will be delivered by Baulderstone, part of Lend Lease’s Australian infrastructure business.
The project is located 11km south of the central business district. It is due to be completed mid 2014.
Lend Lease Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Steve McCann, said the project builds on the existing relationship with Queensland Department of Transport & Main Roads, as well as increasing Baulderstone’s engineering footprint in the state. “We are pleased to be working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads to deliver this major road project in Queensland which will address a significant bottleneck in the Brisbane Urban Corridor,” he said.
