Lindner Group takes up residence in Putney

22 Aug 12 Lindner Interiors, Lindner Facades and Lindner Insulation & Industrial Services have relocated from around the UK into one central head office in Putney, South West London.

The companies, which are all part of the Lindner Group, decided to pool resources to ensure clients would benefit from a single source of supply.

The companies decided to relocate to the recently launched mk hotel development in Putney after a similar initiative had worked successfully in Frankfurt, Germany. Located in Putney and with excellent transport links, the mk hotel chain is owned by a subsidiary of the Lindner Group. The site is a mixed-use development, with modern office facilities and 27 contemporary rooms, owned by the Lindner Group.

The new mk hotel is now also known as 'Lindner House' and is now home to 100 employees from Lindner Interiors, Lindner Facades and Lindner Insulation. Not only does it make financial sense for the companies to share a building but it means the companies can offer an integrated approach to prospective clients.

"The decision to move the three Lindner companies into our own property in Putney was a practical decision that would have clear advantages for our own business and our customers," commented Juergen Wax, CEO UK Sector, Lindner Group. "The move has already significantly increased efficiencies and our clients are benefiting from our shared knowledge, expertise and planning."

The Lindner Group, which also acquired UK specialist exterior envelope contractor Prater in 2011, is a responsible and innovative family-owned business, which highly values sustainable development and places its corporate social responsibility high on the agenda. As such, the Lindner Group offers reduced rates for staff that would like to stay within the mk hotel for business or private purposes.
