Ensign, founded in 2000 by managing director Freddy Peacock and construction director Ken Gray, was placed in administration on 29 September.
Gary Corbett and Darren Brookes of Milner Boardman & Partners have been appointed joint administrators.
According to Ensign’s new website, set up on 13 July, current or recent projects include new locker rooms at Bidston Golf Club, Wirral, and construction of specialist foundations for Brammal Construction’s redevelopment of Waterloo Buildings in Birkenhead.
