Mansell will construct the new school for The Norwich Diocesan Board of Finance Limited, whilst the infrastructure works will be completed for Norfolk County Council.
The traditional build contract will replace the existing Little Plumstead Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School and will cater for 210 pupils.
The school will comprise seven classrooms, a library and hall. Externally hard and soft play areas, sports pitches and a new car park will be constructed. Air source heat pumps and underfloor heating will ensure the environmental efficiency of the project.
This contract has been negotiated through the General Building Framework and builds on an existing relationship Mansell has with Norfolk County Council.
Work is due to start on site this month with the new school due to open in September 2011.
