Procured through a framework agreement this refurbishment and remodelling contract will take place whilst the building remains occupied to suit the police forces operational requirements. Once finished the development will have a new entrance, glazed atrium and all areas of the building will be fitted-out to include open plan offices, meeting places and social areas with kitchens. The project is expected to achieve a BREEAM “Very Good” rating.
This is the fifth scheme Greater Manchester Police has awarded to Mansell.
The contract has recently started on site and will complete in August 2011.
