The contract, valued at more than £5m a year, or £26m in total, covers 600 buildings and structures across London sites, including the City of London Guildhall, the Lord Mayor’s Mansion House, the Old Bailey and other historic buildings and structures, as well as in traditional office buildings and active markets.
Specialist hard services to be provided include fire and security, BMS, chillers, combustion, HVAC and water treatment. Mitie Technical Facilities Management will be self-delivering the vast majority of these services directly, helping the City of London Corporation to significantly reduce cost and improve service efficiencies.
Apex Lift & Escalator Engineers will be looking after lifts under a separate contract
