Mitie wins £100m FM contract with Sky

From January 2013, Mitie will deliver services across Sky's estate in the UK and Ireland, including its two main campuses in London and Scotland, 12 regional offices, two data centres and dozens of internet point of presence (or PoP) sites.

As well as building management, maintenance and repairs, Mitie will be responsible for catering, security, cleaning, mail room & couriers, helpdesk, switchboard, shuttle buses, grounds maintenance and internal landscaping.

Earlier this year Mitie installed a 55m-high wind turbine at Sky's new studios in Osterley, West London. This is expected to provide more than 133MWh a year to the studios.
