The contractor has been appointed to carry out extension and refurbishment works at Newfield Primary School and Brentfield Primary School. Completion for both jobs is scheduled for November 2011.
The 1,000 sq m extension at Newfield Primary School will create seven additional classrooms and a 150 sq m multi-use hall. External works will also be carried out to create a new outdoor play area.
At Brentfield Primary School Morgan Sindall will build a 1,200 sq m extension to create seven new classrooms. The existing building will be remodelled to make better use of space, while landscape work will also be carried out to create a multi-use games area.
Morgan Sindall contracts manager Harry Robinson said: “Our experience and ability to deliver education projects plays a big part in maintaining a steady flow of new business and creating a very healthy order book.”
