Mr Tobin is in turn succeeded as chief financial officer by Camillo Rossotto.
Mr Boyanovsky, 67, has been president and CEO of CNH since March 2005 and has spent his entire career in the equipment industry. He began his career in field sales with International Harvester in 1966.
Mr Tobin joined CNH, manufacturer of Case and New Holland machinery and part of the Fiat empire, in March 2010 from testing company SGS.
