The contractor has recruited a new pre-construction team to help grow the business and expand its client base.
John Eakins joins the company in the newly created role of pre-construction manager. His remit is to co-ordinate the company’s estimating team, helping to assemble bids, value engineer projects and compile tender submissions.
New pre-construction co-ordinator Suzanne McKenna’s role will be to help identify suitable opportunities to tender and completing first stage bids. She will also help to co-ordinate second stage bids alongside the pre-construction manager, with responsibility for presentation.
Managing director Andrew Barker said: “In John and Suzanne, we have succeeded in appointing a high calibre pre-construction team who will help us streamline the tender process internally and implement new approaches to adding value and reducing costs on prospective schemes. Establishing this new team is part of Ocon’s clear growth strategy and we look forward to developing our client base with John and Suzanne’s help.”
