The new Abu Dhabi school has been designed by Dewan Architects and the builder is System Construct.
The new school is being developed by Evolvence Knowledge Investments (EKI) and Sorouh. It will be spread across two campuses, the first of which is a 7,000m2 site for 520 children from nursery to the second year. The second campus will open in 2014 for children in Year 3 and over.
EKI partnered with Repton School in 2006 and started operations of its first campus when it opened Repton Dubai in September 2007 on the 450th anniversary of the British school in Derbyshire.
“The launch of a new Repton School in the UAE capital is a significant measure in offering world class education, steeped in rich heritage, in the Middle East,” said Khaled Al Muhairy, founder and CEO, Evolvence Capital. “Our partnership, which saw the founding of Repton Dubai six years ago, is further strengthened by this new venture and we are pleased to be working with Sorouh and System Construct who are helping us deliver the unparalleled quality for which Repton stands.”
