Starting this month (September), Seddon will carry out redecoration work and pre-painting repairs for approximately 16,500 homes managed by Orbit in Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, South London, Norfolk and Suffolk. Seddon will take on an additional 20 employees for the job.
The contract, which was awarded to Seddon through competitive tender, has the option of a five-year extension when the original ten-year term is up.
Seddon Property Services strategic operations manager Lee Painter said: “We look forward to working with Orbit and residents to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service using our extensive experience of providing painting and maintenance services for affordable housing sector clients.”
