The new Wumag Palfinger machines, which represent an investment of £1.25m, are capable of working at heights up to 45m, 53m and 70m respectively. The 70m machine is the largest truck-mounted access platform based in Scotland.

Outreach managing director for sales and marketing Gary Potts said: “This latest substantial investment by Outreach underlines our serious intent to grow our access division. Our experience over the past few years in this sector indicates there is real customer demand to hire specialist machines based in Scotland rather than incur the extra costs and time to bring them up from down south. With this investment, we are confident that we can satisfy the widest demands from our base in central Scotland.”

Outreach Access offers the hire, sale, servicing, repair and maintenance of access equipment, as well as testing and training facilities at its central Scotland HQ.
