HICL now has a portfolio of 70 infrastructure assets.
The latest deal sees it take ownership of 26 projects from two infrastructure funds managed by Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Ltd.
The 26 investments comprise 10 schools projects, eight health projects, five fire and police projects, two roads (A249 and A92) and a library project. Investment stakes in each project range from 25% to 100% and concession periods average more than 23 years. All are in the UK except fortwo in the Republic of Ireland (the Cork School of Music and a grouped schools project).
