Phase two planned for Welsh home energy programme

5 Aug 11 The Welsh government is advertising for a contractor to manage the £45m second phase of its Arbed programme of improving the energy efficiency of housing stock.

Phase two of the Arbed strategic energy performance investment programme will be delivered alongside local authorities with support from Community Housing Cymru and Welsh housing associations. The four-year programme will help improve the energy performance of at least 4,000 homes in some of Wales’ most deprived communities.

The contract notice is divided into two lots – south Wales and north/mid Wales. Scheme manager(s) will design, cost, supervise and coordinate the delivery of individual schemes, procure material and procure a list of approved suppliers to act as installers by running mini-tender exercises.

See our Contract Leads section for further details.
