In addition, it is tendering frameworks for consultancy services and building contraol work worth £40m to £80m.
The frameworks will also be open for use by police authorities in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Transport for London, Essex, Kent, Thames Valley and Surrey as well as Transport for London.
Between four and six suppliers will be picked for the two lots of the construction framework following an invitation to tender issued to between eight and 12. One of the packages of work covering general tasks such as refurbishments and new build. A separate lot covers mechanical and electrical work. The estimated total value of work is put at between £50m and £220m.
