Redhall taps up Harsco's new boss

7 Jun 12 After just six months in post, scaffolding group Harsco Infrastructure has had its new chief executive poached by engineer Redhall Group.

Former Amec group commercial director Richard Shuttleworth joined Harsco as UK managing director in November 2011.

But he is departing Harsco swiftly to take over as group CEO of Redhall, starting on 1 September 2012. Redhall’s previous CEO, Simon Foster, left in March 2011. Chairman David Jackson has been standing in for more than a year.

Mr Jackson said: "I am delighted that Richard has accepted the challenge of taking the group into the nuclear new build phase. He has the experience and skills to lead Redhall through the next stage of its development."

Mr Shuttleworth is 51 years old and a quantity surveyor by professional background
