Safety hat-trick for Volvo

Volvo Construction Equipment UK has secured a RoSPA Gold Award for the third year running.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards schemerecognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention.

RoSPA awards manager David Rawlins said: “We congratulate Volvo Construction Equipment Division Volvo Group UK Ltd on its success and encourage it, and all our other winners, to remain committed to safety and health, an approach that is well recognised to be good for workers and the bottom line.”

Volvo Construction Equipment managing director Val Ledden said: “We are delighted to receive the RoSPA Gold award for the third year in succession. This award is testament to the level of engagement, hard work and application throughout the organisation. I can reassure Mr Rawlins that here at Volvo Construction Equipment we are totally committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of our business, health and safety being a cornerstone of that philosophy.”
