Seddon has been selected to build the new Christchurch Primary School in Burton-on-Trent.
The contractor, based locally in Stoke-on-Trent, was awarded the job under a framework for major construction projects (each worth £1.5m or more) for the council. Seddon will compete with other members of the framework for £40m of work for the council between now and 2016.
“We have a long-standing working relationship with Staffordshire County Council and are delighted to be continuing that positive relationship through our selection to this construction framework,” says Seddon Construction managing director Jonathan Seddon.
“We are particularly pleased to have already secured our first project through the framework.”
