Blue Light Partnership is a consortium led by Bilfinger Berger Project Investments, Miller Construction and Cofely FM.  It is providing four new facilities for Avon & Somerset police in Bridgwater, Patchway, Keynsham and Portishead. Miller is acting as main contractor for the construction work and is SES’ client.

For SES, the project represents the largest win to date for its southwest regional office. It expects to start on the first building in late January.

Managing director Peter Lewis said: “Having developed what I consider to be a robust work winning strategy, we continue to enjoy sustainable growth across all our regional offices and it is extremely pleasing to be able to announce such a significant contract win for the southwest office. I believe such a logistically challenging scheme provides us with an excellent opportunity to clearly demonstrate both our technical capability and depth of in-house resource to deliver projects of this type.

“We look forward to working closely with Miller Construction and our project partners on the scheme which will see our teams working across the four sites throughout 2013 into early 2014.”
