The elementary schools will be built near Lakewood. The schools, Carter Lake and Hillside, will total more than 12,260m2. They will replace existing elementary schools that will remain operational during construction. The scope of work also includes demolition of the old school buildings and site work such as additional parking and new sports fields.
Work is to be completed in time for the 2013-14 school year.
