The contract for the State of Louisiana amounts to US$130m (£84m). Skanska’s share of the project is 90%, which amounts to US$118m.
Major project components of the second increment of the contract at the academic Medical Care Campus include a 24,000m2 ambulatory care facility and a 1,355-space parking structure.
The hospital is expected to open in February 2015.
