Skelair’s Obermann range updated

20 Oct 15 There have been some improvements and additions to Muhlhauser-Obermann drilling equipment, sold in the UK by Skelair International.

The VS 111-D grouting unit now has a bigger flow rate, with a volume of up to 260 litres/min for larger-sized anchors but still has the same design as the VS 109-D and VS 110-D machines, meaning that 95% of the spare parts used in all three machines are the same.

Also available is a new grouting unit complete with a large flow rate and a hydraulic connection for a charging auger. The VS 111-D/FS is suitable to use with big bags or silo cement onsite, where no high-voltage electric connection is needed or available, Skelair says.

When a high-pressure machine is required, the VS 110-70-D grouting unit has a pressure of up to 200 bar. It has the same mixer, agitator and dimensions as the VS 109, VS 110 and VS 111 machines.

The new AVS 550-51-D/W grouting unit is fully automatic with data registration for mix and pump data. The stainless steel mixing tank has a working capacity of approximately 500 litres for volumes of up to 18 m³/hour using silo cement.

For those with a smaller budget, Skelair says, the VS S 29-E is an electric grouting unit for geothermal usage and the VS S 41-E grouting unit is an electric grouting unit both for geothermal usage or smaller anchors.

Skelair managing director John Mayo said: “The latest product developments show how Muhlhauser-Obermann strives to innovate and continually improve, which in turn means our customers are receiving the very best.”
