Szerelmey secures £546,000 flooring contract at new Network Rail centre

5 Aug 11 Szerelmey, the stonework and restoration specialist, has secured a £546,000 stone flooring contract at the brand new Network Rail national centre, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Szerelmey has been appointed to install Yorkstone in circular patterns in the atrium, external entrance and stairs of the new centre.

The national centre will help Network Rail build teams and inspire better ways of working through an exciting and innovative environment. It will be a dedicated centre combining Engineering, Investment Planning and Management, Logistics, Operational Planning, Information Management and national functions.

Szerelmey will begin work in August 2011. Szerelmey was appointed by BAM Construction, the main contractor carrying out the work on behalf of Network Rail.
