However, the client has moderated expectations by adding that "with the uncertainty of future grant funding levels, it is anticipated that the financial nature of the scope of new build and refurbishment may change according to available funding".
Whatever workload eventually emanates, the 10 contractors selected as prequalified are:

- ISG Jackson
- EG Carter & Company
- Galliford Try
- T&A Kernoghan
- Drew Smith
- Rydon Construction
- Lakehouse Contracts
- Keepmoat
- Willmott Dixon Housing.
“Each of the companies impressed us with their submissions and we are looking forward to working with them,” said Home Group director of development Ian Tallentire.
More than 90 companies made initial expressions of interest before the final 10 were selected.
