The project is aimed at the overall improvement in the administration, implementation and management of road maintenance programmes in the Zambezia, Sofala and Manica provinces. The combined value of the three contracts is US$9.3m (£5.7m).
URS Scott Wilson will provide services including the preparation of budgets and maintenance contract documents together with the design of road and bridge maintenance works. It will also assist with the evaluation of tenders and the training of contractors and will supervise the maintenance works.
