Industry young achievers sought

13 Jul 12 The Construction Youth Trust is looking for the industry’s brightest and best twentysomethings.

It is calling for applications for the Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme.

The judges are looking for people under the age of 30 who have not only already achieved excellence in their careers but may have had to overcome challenges to get there.

They are also looking for individuals who have gone the extra mile to promote construction as a career or helped others in the wider community.

There are five categories:

  • Architecture
  • Engineering
  • Project management
  • Surveying
  • Overall winner (selected from the winners of the other four categories).

The winners will be presented at an awards dinner in London in spring 2013. They will receive a package of support through the trust and development opportunities through a one year mentoring programme to help them to make an even greater impact in their future careers. There will be an additional prize for the overall winner.
