The Hitachi Zaxis 33U is a compact short tail swing machine which makes it ideal when working in tight work spaces like I do from time to time. The one featured in this video is owned and operated by the Schiavi Group from Rome in Italy.The machine is seen at work digging out inside an old Vatican building, which was being converted into a new hotel to accommodate the many visitors to the Vatican City.
I have not spent any time on these particular models, and so far I have heard conflicting reports, but they certainly look the part to me and having owned 3 Hitachi machines in the past I feel very confident in the quality of the product.
