Case Construction Equipment dealer M&M Plant has opened of a new purpose-built £1 million head office and depot in Launceston, Cornwall.

The investment follows the dealership’s eastwards territory expansion last year to Yeovil and Bridgwater in Somerset. The new base, which is on Trethorne Business Park in Launceston, close to the Devon border, covers 4,000m2 in total. It includes new offices and showroom, stores and parts reception, plus a 550 m2 workshop with five bays. The site also provides the option for future expansion.

M&M Plant director Mark Gregory said: “This is an exciting time for our business and the investment in this new site is all about having the right tools in place to further grow the business. The new showroom will enable us to expand our machines sales offering, and with a significantly increased workshop capability and a dedicated service/parts store we are confident we will meet all of our customers’ requirements and ensure we deliver the highest levels of aftersales efficiency. We are also looking to expand the workforce by recruiting an additional engineer.”

M&M Plant, a Case dealer for 11 years, won the 2017 ‘Spirit of Case’ Dealer of the Year award at the recent UK & Ireland dealer convention. Jane Whittle, Case network development manager for UK & Ireland, said: “With this huge investment in new premises I am confident we will have continued success together as the product offering and application coverage is expanded.”
